Casa Anacaona
Commissioned by the Creative Foundation and Womad Festival for FOLKESTONE TRIENNIAL 2017 and WOMAD 2017.
Casa Anacaona is a large-scale, site-specific tropical pavilion designed by Sol Calero and constructed in collaboration with local creatives in Folkestone. Casa Anacaona travelled to WOMAD to be decorated by festival-goers in painting workshops and returned to Kent for Folkestone Triennial in 2017.
